President Bush and most of his cohorts claim to be men and women of God, but what God would condone the kind of mass violence current US policy is inflicting on Iraq? Soon the atrocities of Saddam Hussein will fade into history but the US occupation of their homeland will remain uppermost in the minds of Iraqis watching their compatriots assaulted daily by jaded, fearful and arrogant US troops. It reminds one of the illegal Israeli occupation of the Palestinian territories!

The Americans are stuck in Iraq now no matter what: if they stay, they're dead meat and a focus for every "terrorist' who ever wanted tro take a shot at a Yank, if they go, Iraq erupts in civil war and no doubt some devout mullah will eventually rule. Unlike what all the bleedin' heart lefties say it is definitely true that the Syrians are helping the terrorists in Iraq, and that they have a vested interest in trying to stop freedom and democracy in Iraq. And now it looks like the US is going to target these exact camps that support the anti-Iraqi terrorists in Iraq. This will be a substantial step towards defeating the insurgents and bringing peace and hope to the Iraqi people.
