Then why is a Senator from 70 year old Aussie PM Howard's government involved in oil deals with the post-invasion regional Kurdish government?

Shouldn’t they be waiting until the real "democratically" elected government of Iraq can be involved?
I mean, that $20 000 wasn't a bribe was it?

The Bush League may well comprise of christian fundamentalists, crony capitalists and psychotic neo-con idealogues, but at its core these people are really just all about making lots and lots of money for themselves and their associates. And they'll do "whatever it takes' to hang on to that cash cow called the White House!

The Titanic seems a nice metaphore for America under L'i'l Dubya's demented control. But as I recall the historic facts, the actual Titanic met its end by mistake, whereas Bush is building up a head of steam and heading straight for the bloody iceberg!
