Appalling sure, but was/is he unique in the world? I think not.

Putting aside the (critical!) issue that the US, British AND Australian governments' loud and concerted mantra prior to the invasion was Hussein's imminent threat, that he HAD to be attacked IMMEDIATELY to prevent him from using the WOMD that he very definitely HAD, there and then.

Now, the song has changed. Now, it seems is was all about granting ordinary Iraqis their freedom from Saddam Hussein.

Does the end always justify the means? Does anyone care that we have been lied to by our leaders on this incredibly vital issue?
