Dear Frank. Swish is a great word. I have no problem with it at all and am rather fond of it myself. However it is clearly an adjective so I can't see any way that it is a replacement for, or in competition with sweel which is both a verb and a noun. I think this has been fairly well established.

@PervisMaybe you should take up sweeling? I, for one, am looking into it as a career. Sweelin' Joel is who I will be known as henceforth. I am hoping that it proves to be lucrative. We, Jamie and I, are still researching what it is but anyone would have to agree that it sounds interesting. It is a good idea to get in early with things like this because before you know it everyone will be doing it.

In fact I like the shape of the word so much that I would like to take it up as a career even if that is not a thing.
