IN JUNE AND JULY 2002, FOUR SOLDIERS BASED AT FORT BRAGG, PALOOKAVILLE USA, WERE CHARGED WITH MURDERING THEIR WIVES -- THREE WERE SPECIAL OPERATIONS SERVICEMEN RECENTLY RETURNED FROM AFGHANISTAN. TWO KILLED THEMSELVES AND TWO WERE ARRESTED FOR MURDER.
FORT BRAGG IS THE HOME OF THE ARMY'S 82ND AIRBORNE DIVISION AND SEVERAL ELITE COMMANDO UNITS SENT TO AFGHANISTAN AS PART OF THE PHONEY U.S. "WAR ON TERRORISM" AFTER THE SEPTEMBER 11 ATROCITIES.
THE ARMY SENT A TEAM OF PSYCHIATRISTS, DOCTORS, SOCIAL WORKERS AND CHAPLAINS TO INVESTIGATE WHETHER THE PRESSURES OF MILITARY LIFE PROMPTED THE KILLINGS.
