And an ethical conundrum would be relative to whatever ethics one believes in or that one has adopted via osmosis by virtue of one's place of birth. The initiator is initiated so they could be the same person. Perhaps you could rephrase? Perhaps you mean the initiatee? I think the initiatee should come first.
