WITH 'EM OR AGAINST 'EM? FUCKIN YANKS ARE JUST DOING OVERTLY NOW WHAT THEY'VE BEEN DOING COVERTLY FOR AT LEAST THE PAST 50 YEARS! ANYONE JOINING IN THIS BIZARRE BULLSHIT IRAQ FARCE SHOULD WAKE UP TO THEIR FUCKIN SELVES!
LEMON AID

Our American friends have already admitted they're not interested in UN support, UN weapons inspections, or world opinion, nor are they interested in actually finding anything incriminating. They just want to murder Saddass - and they don't give a shit how many innocent civilians get killed, maimed and traumatised in the process.

Dead babies - as recently proven in Afghanistan - are not a US concern either. If they go ahead with this, then anything goes.

Anybody, anywhere, anytime, will be able to "justify" the worst atrocity simply by calling it a first-strike in self defence! Hell, its Hitler's old excuse for invading Russia!
I can't resist! How'd you like to hear the increasingly addled and inarticulate Texas Deranger - or our very own venomous Mini Me warmonger's mascot PM Johhny Rotten - make THIS speech:

Saint Crispin's Day Speech
from Henry V by William Shakespeare

This day is called the feast of Crispian:
He that outlives this day, and comes safe home,
Will stand a tip-toe when the day is named,
And rouse him at the name of Crispian.
He that shall live this day, and see old age,
Will yearly on the vigil feast his neighbours,
And say 'To-morrow is Saint Crispian:'
Then will he strip his sleeve and show his scars.
And say 'These wounds I had on Crispin's day.'
Old men forget: yet all shall be forgot,
But he'll remember with advantages
What feats he did that day: then shall our names.
Familiar in his mouth as household words
Harry the king, Bedford and Exeter,
Warwick and Talbot, Salisbury and Gloucester,
Be in their flowing cups freshly remember'd.
This story shall the good man teach his son;
And Crispin Crispian shall ne'er go by,
From this day to the ending of the world,
But we in it shall be remember'd;
We few, we happy few, we band of brothers;
For he to-day that sheds his blood with me
Shall be my brother; be he ne'er so vile,
This day shall gentle his condition:
And gentlemen in England now a-bed
Shall think themselves accursed they were not here,
And hold their manhoods cheap whiles any speaks
That fought with us upon Saint Crispin's day.

NOPE, NOT IN IRAQ, BOYS & GIRLS! REMEMBER: THERE'S NO HONOUR AMONG THIEVES!

The President of the US has unbelievable military and economic power at his disposal.

Why is there no analysis of the consequences of having in that position a man who is, at best, of average intelligence and limited education, and whose understanding of the world beyond the US before he took office stretched little further than Mexico or Hawaii?

He views the world through the prism of a Wild West comic book. There are good guys and outlaws, "injuns" and the seventh cavalry. The vocabulary of his inarticulate utterances are peppered with comic book jargon ranging from "he can run but he can't hide" to "the axis of evil".

Yet this is the reality facing the world today.

We have at the head of the US, whose power is totally unrestrained, a man of mediocre stature who intends to run the world on the basis of comic book rules.

Don't you people get it yet: the USA thinks it is above all else. Americans don't give a rat's toss about suffering in Afghanistan, Iraq or any bloody other godforsaken place (which they couldn't find on a map anyway). Yanks are the uber mensch. They really believe it! And we're all going to suffer a world of pain because of that belief.

The increasingly "unreal" belligerance of the US scares me that a hundred Saddam Hussein's rolled into one. No nation of earth has demonstrated its opposition to international law and international opinion more than the US. And this has NOTHING to do with the September 11 atrocities in New York etc
Joel Cairo
Like most of the left, you lot have lost the plot. You are unable to mount a coherent arguement against Capitalism because of the total failure of your favoured political system. All you have left is to blame the US for all the ills of the world!

Of course the US helped the freedom fighters in Afghanistan when it was terrorised by the evil Soviet regime. If you had any interest in human rights you would have supported them then as well. This might have led to some funds going the way of Osama and his crew, but they weren't the only ones supported. Unlike the safe and easy world you occupy, the real world is not black and white, and the US did what they could to help.
If you lot had your way Eastern Europe would still be smothered by the Iron Curtain!

Whatever the Yanks did to fight the commie scourge in the cold war was nothing compared to the evil the Soviets did. Look at Vietnam. You ding-a-lings think you did the Vietnamese people a favour by letting the commies takeover! Have a look at them now - they can't wait to be true blue capitalists!
I'm sure that makes that pontificating ponce Pilger choke on his weeties every morning!

So wise up and get out of your Marxist 20th century dreamworld!

Absolutely goddamn right! Until the US gets as self-righteous and "concerned' about Israel's defiance of UN resolutions, we can view Bush's current song-and-dance as a sickening charade. The blatant hypocrisy is un-fuckin-believable! Now for another body count! - Rama
Juingoism, eh? Well, well, what else would you call the excrement pouring from the mouths of Bush, Rumsfeld, cheny, etc etc... but obviously you aint actually read much of this "leftist tripe" posted on Xenox News.

Nowhere does anyone condone the plane-bomb hit that killed all those people. Of course those poor bastards didn't "deserve" what happend. The point is, now the US should understand how people in OTHER countries feel when they cop it in the neck because of US foreign policy decisions. The 11 September attacks did not blossom in a vacuum. If you can't understand THAT then we are indeed in for a new world war. And it is one the US itself will have started.

By now even you, Comrade Pastiot, must know that the US helped established Osama bin Laden's el Quaid and helped put and keep Sadam in power! I guess ignorance is bliss for you, yes? Get serious and pick up on your history before you start waving flags and banging drums.

And who attacked the US? Was it the long sufering civilians of impoverished Afghanistan, some 3000 or more of whom have been killed directly by US ordnance? Was it that mad old cunt Sadam Hussein, who was supported by the US government thrughout the Iran/Iraq war (yeah, thats right buddy: when Saddam gassed all thoser Kurds, the Yanks didn't say a goddamn thing! Now, of course, Yank foregin policy has changed so he's the bad guy instead of the Iranians).

The Berlin Wall? Hell,in backdoor talks with the Soviets, then Prez Kennedy agreed to have it built! It was political ly expedient at the time! In fact, the Yanks hae shown time and again they will support any evil, any atrocity,, if it will help further their OWN aims. Well, all that bad karma sure is coming home now, aint it!

The "cold war" was a manufactured notion to scare the shit out of people. And the US "won" it purely because it could outspend the Soviets on more and more military/industrial crap. Instead of bankrupting themselves the dumb Soviets should have ignored the Yank arms race and they'd still be in power!

Im not anti-US, I'm just anti bullshit, ignorance, arrogance and hypocrisy. Come on Yanks, join the real world!

As for you, comrade Patriot, I suggest you do a little studying. And I dont mean at McDonalds University!

Indeed, are we not men!
What I am shocked about is how both Bush and John Howard keep building up hatred against their own countries....why they continue to provoke hatred, as if they are intentionally trying to start a religious/race war that we haven't seen since the crusades.

If the US intelligence is so good why couldn't they have gone in quietly, found out the whereabouts of Bin Laden (if he was behind it) and then done the job on him?

Why does there have to be so much 'collateral damage'? Why don't the US weep for all of the civilians that are killed from other nations?

After all of these innocents have been killed going after Bin Laden; why has the hunt for him ended....we don't here about it anymore. How can people in other nations not suspect there is something dodgy all about these military actions and 'coups' when the original agendas are forgotten about so quickly and dismissed.

One minute it is, we will search every cave, no cave is deep enough, and so many deaths later it is "How the hell do I know where he is? He is probably in some cave somewhere"

And as quickly as all this blood is shed, it is all forgotten. Almost, "fuck that, no one left to kill there, no furthert gain to be had there".

Dear Patriot

Why on the very anniversary of the tragic occurences that occured a few days ago plus a year, why on this mournful anniversary, is the talk all focussed on attacking Saddam Hussein (as well as all the civilians) in Iraq?

It is wierd shit like this that makes many people think something is very fucking out of control in the USA. Listening to your leader talk makes many the neutral bystander tremble in fear. The respect and praise given to this man who appears to relish killing, for reasons he appears to manufacture as necessary to keep the war machine rolling.

The other thing that sticks in my gullet is: Why are all these actions against despots so selective. i.e. why aren't tyrranical regimes such as Indonesia, hell bent on the genocide of east Timorese, active in the process, warned, cautioned, invaded, etc???

Don't you suspect even slightly that oil comes into the equation when Iraq is discussed?

There is just too much fishy stuff to let me believe that the 'war on terror' isn't just propaganda to allow the US as a super power to make war based on political, economic and whatever other reasons (race? religion?)

How can you have a war on terror?
The spooky thing about terrorist type attacks is that they can be masterminded and actioned by a very small number of individuals.

The really spooky thing is that the actions of the US are building up so much more hatred, amongst communities, families, in fact perhaps the whole muslim world is beginning to bre hatred toward the USA!

Don't you feel terrified that the US leader is inspiring so much hate toward the Americas?

I reckon the only way to stop retaliatory terrorist attacks is to give no reasons for retaliation.

George Bush, by talking his big speak of hatred and war against nations and peoples is surely building hate to an all time high.

I would be terrified to live in the USA. The president is building up so much hatred against the place with one of the largest demographics around in the nation of Islam.

Reconciliatory talk, wise moves, gestures and decisions, a more diplomatic approach, at least even at the level of 'speak' is well advised.

With George Bush in place you guys are fucked.
Wars can go forever with no result (we have seen this over and over) and the hatred toward the USA continues to build with every collateral head count.

Good luck but me thinks we are probably all doomed with the way it is going.

Gosh Mom, what a coincidence! Just as he's strutting his stuff in the U.N. - an organisation held in utter contempt by the U.S. government - Georgie Porgie Bushie Wooshie offers this rare sweetener:

Eighteen years after withdrawing from Unesco in protest at its alleged mismanagement, the U.S. is to rejoin the United Nations' Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation, the U.S. Presidump proclaimed in New York yesterday.

The decision, greeted with applause by delegates at the UN general assembly, flabbergasted critics of the Bullshit administration which has been accused of flouting international cooperation on the environment and arms control.

"As a symbol of our commitment to human dignity, the United States will return to Unesco," Bullshitter Bush snootily declared during his speech lambasting Iraq. "This organisation has been reformed and America will participate fully in its mission to advance human rights and tolerance and learning."

HUMAN RIGHTS? TOLERANCE? THE TEXAS SHIT-HEEL'S ABOUT TO START WORLD WAR THREE! YOU GOTTA LAUGH!

WHILE everyone is wondering whether the US will go to war alone (i.e., with us) or consult, the war has already started. We wanted to know whether Bush would talk or fight; he's doing both. The softening-up process has begun.

The Gulf War never finished; it just got de-escalated. Now it has been re-escalated. Why would Saddam make any concessions whatever in order to avoid war when he is already at war with the US?

Iraq wants a guarantee that once the weapons inspections have finished, the sanctions will be lifted, the bombing stopped and the no-fly zone removed. The US has never been prepared to give that guarantee.

If you want someone to surrender, you have to let them think that you'll stop hitting them when they do.
