The evil mastermind behind most of the terrorist Iraq insurgency has gone to ground since he was wounded by Iraqi defence forces. Sources in Iraq are now suggesting it may be that he is holed up in the Syrian capital. If this is correct then the authorities in Damascus must immediately hand over this terrorist mastermind. If they want to prove their bona fides in the War on Terror they have no choice. For too long they have been allowing the dead-enders and foreign jihadis to use the Iraq-Syria border as a revolving door to fight against the forces of freedom and democracy in Iraq.
If they do not give him up then they must be made to face the full force of international condemnation.
