Today is the day when the fallout over Rudd's meeting with Brian Burke takes shape. But of course the Murdoch and Packer owned media is playing it up making him look like a bad boy and the Libs intimating that he is morally bankrupt and not worthy etc....
To my way of thinking, this makes no sense.
Firstly, I could not care less who Rudd meets with. Burke, Mother Teresa, Pol Pot, Jimmy Barnes....who cares? If his aim is to remove Howard from office, then that's all that matters to me.
Secondly, how can Howard take aim at Rudd and say how bad he is for the meeting and such? I don't understand. Please correct me if I'm wrong but didn't John Howard lie about the introduction of the GST? Lie about the reasons we sent our soldiers into Iraq? Lie about the Children Overboard affair? Never said sorry to the Aboriginal people when it was expected? etc...
How can this arrogant cunt point the finger at Kevin Rudd and try and paint him as morally wrong for a few meetings with a man like Burke,? I'll give Johnny one thing though..... He is more of a scumbag all-round than Brian Burke could ever hope to be in his wildest dreams!!
