No she didn't. The panel that is stacked with John Howard appointees was rubber-stamped by the Queen's secretary as were their choices. The Queen has SFA to do with it - couldn't give a stuff! 10 years of PM Howard's government dragged Australia from an international backwater to a nation with an economy the envy of the world. We all should be very thankful to John Howard and his team for making Australia the great nation it is today.

However with Kruddy and his band of latte sippers don't expect the economic sun to shine for much longer. Already inflation is up and it won't be long before the job queues are as long as they were under that other Labour scoundrel Keating.
