Bush was asked yet again that in the absence of an imminent Iraqi threat, was the war still justified?
After some incomprehensible meandering - for example, "This is unaccounted for stockpiles that you thought [Saddam] had because I don't think America can stand by and hope for the best from a madman" - the president reduced his answer to this:
"I believe it is essential that when we see a threat, we deal with those threats before they become imminent. It's too late if they become imminent."
God help us all!

Now they can live under the ethics of Judaeo-christian civilization. The pinnacle of Man's achievement.

"The free trade agreement with the US nearly collapsed during the final negotiations in Washington. Trade Minister Mark Vaile and his officials were several times at the point of walking out and flying home over the miserly US offer on agriculture. In the end, it was John Howard who decided to accept the offer rather than risk getting nothing... "

Investigators have identified China as the origin of nuclear weapons designs found in Libya last year, exposing yet another link in the chain that passed nuclear secrets through Pakistan to other countries in Asia and the Middle East.

Everybody who knows, knows that Saddass got his WMDs into Syria the week before the invasion (cehck out www.debka!). And remember Iraq is as big an area as France so it will take a little while longer before we can be sure there are no WMDs still there. And there still remains the Baath party support of Al Qaeda; just read Bill Safire. He'll tell you the truth!

As soon as it involves the USA your against it!
What about all those other FTAs with Singapore and Asia? I'm sure they are OK in your politcally correct myopic world.

ps I'll soon fill you in with the real deal soon.
The PM tells us our Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme – the envy of the world - will be unaffected by the new free trade agreement.
Really? Why then does the US say the FTA means Australia will have to make a number of so-called "improvements".
The Howard government would have us believe local content in Australian broadcasting is protected.
Oh yes? Why then does the US claim its films and television will have "unprecedented" provisions for improved market access here.
Given his history of brazen lies what else would you expect from John Howard.
