Schapelle Corby Gets a Global Demo and a Landmark Video

Awesome as in the video and the quick report. I went to their site and it is hot out today.

This is bound to throw a few wobblers. I bet the likes of SMH and the rest of the smear crew never saw this one coming.

Great video. It gave me chills down my spine. I read that people can still submit their photos to the schapelle.net website and they will be added to the website. Will have to send one in.

I hope this video will highlight the Australian Governments attempt to quash support for Schapelle . The former Prime Minister John Howard lied to the Australian public . When he was interviewed on national television after a white powder was sent to the Indonesian Embassey in Canberra. He stated as fact " the initial tests show the powder is a type of bacillus bacteria , the same family as the anthrax bacteria". He added further 'It's an act of reckless indifference to human life" and went on to apologise to the Indonesians. The white powder was talcum powder.The AFP were aware of this almost immediatly! This was confirmed later and yet the AFP went about the charade of wearing contamination suits for the cameras. This had to be designed to stop support for Schapelle. From 9/11 until the " talcum powder attack" there had been 360 such instances of suspicious white powder sent in the post. Not one of the previous 360 had been labeled as a terrorism attack. Since that day the Australian media have launched the most vicious attack on the Corby Family. Schapelle needs international support, it will not come from our government or media.

And it seems to me obvious that the truth is she was smuggling drugs for her own gain and/or personal use. The law is very clear about that. Now you might quibble about the severity of the sentence, but when it comes to the process of the law there is no doubt. It was a transparent process. And the guilty have to be punished.

Why on earth would there be a conspiracy to keep Corby in jail? What possible advantage could the Australian Government and media gain from it?

Are you serious ? Schapelle requested the luggage of all four passengers to be weighed together ,as her boogie board was not weighed individually by Qantas. She had a collective weight only on her ticket . DENIED. even though all the other baggage was still together and intact. Sh quested the police to stop handling the bag containing the marijuana to preserve evidence DENIED. She requested the bag be finger printed. DENIED She requested the marijuana be DNA tested. DENIED She requested the cctv footage from Denpasar airport. DENIED Why would the Bali police refuse ? Surely any of these would strengthen their case against her. The Bali police had their patsy and they were not going to collect evidence that would prove otherwise. Can you please tell me why Schapelle would request the AFP get cctv surveilence footage from the Qantas check in at Brisbane airport ? If one frame showed a pregnant boogie board bag ,it would have been positive proof of her guilt. How was she to know that every cctv was switched off ? Guilty people do not request evidence that could get them executed. To Mr Jansen Do you really think the Australian Government would not sacrifice one person to preserve relations with Indonesia? If the marijuana was planted in Bali every piece of the puzzle fits. Not even your most hardened traveller would visit a country with the death penalty ,that plants drugs on its tourists. Why was there no investigation from our police to find out where the marijuana was grown ? Why wouldn't they at least search Schapelle's car or home ? Why weren't her family and friends interviewed ? Surely the police would want to arrest the culprits that so sullied our good name. This put Australia in league with other drug yielding countries like Thailand and Columbia. Answer the AFP knew the truth. Keelty said it himself when queried why the AFP had not investigated. "WE ARE NOT IN THE BUSINESS OF CLEARING PEOPLE" All this is documented on the net. If anyone wants to do the research.

Why is it insane to ask: 1) Why was the bag not fingerprinted and the mj not DNA tested when there was an official request to do so made by the Corby family? 2) Why did all the video footage of Schapelle checking in her luggage in Brisbane suddenly disappear? 3) Why did all the media which had been supportive of Schapelle suddenly do a 180 and start printing innuendo that the family was involved in drug smuggling and then not print corrections when 100% of the accusations prooved untrue (see the police reports). 4) Why is the fact that her unlocked bag was out of her control for 12 hours and handled by who knows how many people not considered reasonable doubt. Especially when Schapelle had no prior involvement with drugs. Now how is it that I am the one considered not sane here?

Because it has no effect on our policies against drug users and pushers. She was caught with drugs and has to pay the penaty.

Wijaja - This may come as news to you, but innocent people are arrested all the time. Basically you're saying that if someone put a bag of mj in one of your possessions when you weren't looking and then are caught with it, you should do the time and shut up about it. FAIR trials normally sort out this kind of thing, but unfortunately Schapelle was not given the benefit of one of those. She was found guilty because she could not prove her innocence. She could not prove her innocence because she was not given the opportunity to do so. DNA testing and fingerprinting that Schapelle requested was denied. The airport "lost" the video footage of her checking in the boogie board bag. The judge she was tried in front of has never acquitted a single defendant. The fact that her bag was unlocked and out of her control for 12 hours and gone through two Australian airports where employees have been arrested for putting drugs in unknowing travelers bags should be reasonable doubt on it's own. Indonesia is supposedly an innocent-until-proven-guilty country, yet the only thing they had was that drugs were found in a bag that was owned by Schapelle. If Indonesia is so serious about stopping drugs why didn't they do anything to determine where the drugs were from? The entire case is a joke!

Good. We are all better off without these druggie dimwits.

Notice these people that are anti Schapelle never have a arguement or give any reasoning as to why she is guilty. "Daaa red it in da payper mus be twue" or they like to insult Schapelle from behind their computers. Real brave to insult someone who cannot defend themselves.

Digger I hope that nick name is not in reference to Australian War Veterans. Their motto was don't turn your back on your mates. You however have demonstrated that you are happy to do just that without knowing the facts.

Although I personally believe she is 100% guilty of drug smuggling considering there isn't any substantial evidence they have no right to imprison her. At the very least she should be jailed over here due to Indonesia's fuck up. They say they're serious about the "war against drugs" yet its always the drug user and not the drug dealer they imprison and//or execute.

The Australian government has a long history of covering up for Indonesia. They lied about what happened to the Balibo Five, they kept the truth covered up for over 30 years. Our government also strip-searched journalists for footage of the Dili massacre to hide what was going on over there. What makes you think this is a conspiracy? It all makes perfect sense.
