George Dumbya Bush's USA has once again refused to sign a crucial international agreement: the global Landmine Ban Treaty.
That's good news for the governments of those shining examples of humanitarianism and democratic principle Burma and Russia ,who alone continue to plant mines on a regular basis.

Since 1997, some 150 countries have signed the Mine Ban Treaty, which prohibits the use, trade, production and stockpiling of antipersonnel landmines.
So here's yet another demonstration of the Bush administration's total disdain not only for international law but for common fucken decency.
Landmines kill an estimated 15,000 to 20,000 people around the world each year.
