Happy Birthday! Many Happy Returns to the A-Bomb

Yes the A-Bomb is 60 years old today. 60 years since the first successful test near Almagordo, New Mexico. Who ever thought we’d make it this far? I think we should all be pleased that most of us are still around to enjoy the show and I hope that this trend continues well into the next Century. Strewth I know some optimists who think this civilisation still has a good 300 years left in it. Won’t that be fun?
