SATIRE = SEDITION?
The thin edge of the edge is upon us. The nation teeters on the brink of dictatorship. The Lying Rodent's Sedition laws are poised to strike at the heart of Australian democracy.
Without any consultation with its creator Richard Neville, the satirical website at johnhowardpm.org has apparently been shut down by federal government decree.
The IT company that registered the domain name initially claimed the site had been suspended after complaints from the Prime Minister's office.
However, those orders were accompanied by advice from the Federal Police High Tech Crime Centre.
The johnhowardpm.org site is currently being diverted to Neville's own website which is carrying a copy of a satirical speech about the Iraq occupation.
