We can see already the subject confirming what we already know about bigots. The subject states that he doesn't know what a bigot is "dern't know what that is" as he puts it, despite the article clearly emphasising the definition of the word in all of bold type, italic and underline!

Yes, this certainly confirms the behaviour of the typical bigot. They cannot see anything that they would prefer not to deal with.

Further analysis is required as we need to establish whether the bigot cannot see certain things just because "they refuse to see them" i.e. conveniently ignoring things, or whether, in fact, that they are actually psychologically malformed in such a way that they really cannot see them.
