Decrepit Australian Prime Minister Howard has addressed the nation on it's National day:
"We don't have anything to hide, anything to be sorry about, and should celebrate our way of life," the doddering old fart told a handpicked audience in Canberra,
"We are blessed to live in this great nation, and I'll do my damndest to keep it that way."
The event was followed by a night rally with fireworks, bonfires, and the unfurling of hundreds of English, sorry, Australian flags. The event was televised live on all three commercial TV networks.
One lone dissenter was spotted at the event but Federal Police quickly removed him under the new anti-terror laws. In fact under these new anti-terror laws we should not have told you that. You can put it down to a sub-editor error.
