Poor old Brian! The shock of his $30 million payout for six months work (?!) has obviously been very traumatic for him. Reporters sniffed him out recuperating from his harrowing ordeal at Freycinet Lodge, an exclusive bush and beach hideaway in Coles Bay on Tasmania's east coast. And how does the poor bloke feel? Well, let him speak for himself:
"I'd set myself the challenge of working through the book of restaurants in Melbourne," he said. "I have only got about one-third of the way through, so there's a lot of ground I haven't covered.
"I also set myself the target of working through the wine book but I realised early on there were so many I hadn't a chance, even with dedicated effort."
That's gotta be worth $30 million right?
