Is there - or has there ever been - an Islamic society where those that rule are elected by universal suffrage, where freedom of speech, assembly and association is paramount, and where sex with a donkey is not considered an act of manhood? Unfortunately not.
There never was one and never will be. Not even at the point of a gun. Or several hundred thousand guns, for that matter.
And there will never, ever be peace in Iraq while foreign armies remain, and foreign powers call the shots. It's an historic certainty.
Only a spoiled, arrogant idiot would think otherwise. And you know which spoiled, arrogant idiot I mean!
