ELVIS PRESLEY MEMORIAL DAY

It's time to start preparing your plans for the Elvis Presley Memorial Day. Elvis Presley Memorial Day falls on August 16, which is a Thursday this year. This year there will be a huge festival in Memphis Tennessee, where folks from all over the world will come to pray with Elvis, may his soul live on forever!

This is an open invitation to all, and certainly people from around the world are invited.

However, recognizing that Australia is a far streach from Memphis, some Expatriated Confederate Americans living in Australia will be coordinating a synchronized prayer session consisiting of several of the Gospel songs as sung by the King himself. Comments and suggestions welcome - looking for some good people to help organize this event in OZ.

Ricky, do you think that Elvis (Lord bless his socks!) may have been the Messiah, and we fools failed to understand? Do we get another chance? I have been crucifying anybody I can get my hands on, but none of them seem to have been the Messiah!

Any dummy knows that! Jesus was the Messiah. Elvis sang beautiful songs about the Messiah. If anything, Elvis was a fallen preacher. He imbibed in drugs and alcohol, permitting the devil to ruin his body and soul.

But, Elvis was forgivin for his sins. And, now he is with the Lord in all of his glory! Amen! Elvis did the Lord's work for a short while on earth, but wrestled with the devil. And sometimes the devil won, but the Lord in all of his grace and mercy forgave Elvis. Amen!
